Designers' Happy Hour

Carol Strohecker, Director of the Center for Design Innovation, spoke to the public at the Old Winston Social Club about the progress of CDI’s new building.

Since 2007, CDI has been operating from a 2,500 square-foot facility in downtown Winston-Salem while working with architects to create a dedicated building in the adjacent urban research park.

The 24,000 square-foot building is now under construction on a brownfield site near the partnering campuses and a host of biotech R&D interests.
